Not only is oat milk environmentally beneficial, it also have several health benefits. By consuming a glass of oat milk in the morning you will already be ahead of your daily B12 vitamin, calcium intake, iron intake and it has plenty of protein! Lower your blood cholesterol by drinking the recommended amount of oat milk, which is at least one glass per day.
- 1 liter of cold water
- 100 grams of oat flakes
- 1 teaspoon of sea salt
- Add 1 tablespoon of optional sweetener like vanilla extract or honey
- Mix the oats with the salt, sweetener and the water all together in a blender for 2-3 minutes.
- Get a bowl or a big cup and put a thin cloth or sieve on top of it and pour the mix on top of it and let it strain trough the sieve or cloth.
- Voilá, there you have your home made oat milk.
